At the heart of the Benelli M1014 Limited Edition is the ARGO (auto regulating gas operation) system. It features dual stainless self-cleaning gas pistons located forward of the chamber and operated directly against the patented Benelli rotating bolt. Also, this configuration eliminates the need for complex linkages found in other gas-operated semi-automatic shotguns which foul quickly and are more difficult to clean.

Finally, all external surfaces of the Benelli M1014 Limited Edition are protected with an anti-reflective MILSPEC finish. This makes it extremely corrosion resistant and reliable in even the harshest environments.
